Our work protects public safety, supports legitimate enterprise, and preserves the visual character of our cities and roads.

Key responsibilities entrusted to the Agency.
As established under the Delta State Signage and Advertisement Agency Law, our remit covers the full lifecycle of outdoor advertising, from application through enforcement.
Regulate outdoor advertising
Define lawful placement, dimensions, illumination and structural standards for all forms of outdoor advertising.
Issue permits and licenses
Receive, evaluate and approve applications for new and renewing advertisement structures across the State.
Ensure safety compliance
Inspect installations against engineering, electrical and public-safety requirements before and after installation.
Remove illegal signage
Identify, notify and dismantle unauthorised structures that contravene State law or pose hazards to citizens.
Maintain urban aesthetics
Coordinate with town planning to preserve sightlines, heritage corridors, and the visual order of our cities.
Generate state revenue
Collect statutory fees and charges that contribute to the development of public infrastructure across Delta State.
